The Calling

And Jesus, walking by the sea of Galilee, saw two brethren, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers. (v.19) And, he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men. (v.20) And they straightway left their nets and followed him. Matthew 4:18-20 You can also find this event in Mark 1:16-18 (KJV).

When Jesus called the disciples, He never made promises of titles or positions. Jesus never promised that one day they would become Apostles. He did say, "I'll make you fishers of men." The call you are experiencing or have experienced is an internal yearning to respond to an unction and voice on the inside of you. To others, the call sounds like noise or silence; however, to the called one, it's an audible voice that is loud and clear. The call may be an unction deep inside you that you cannot explain. It leaves, and then You may laugh, cry, or look bewildered. Regardless of how strong you are mentally, physically, or emotionally, the call of God can and will break you down and cause you to surrender to His will for your life.

This writing is intended to provide simple clarity to an unction from God that may seem complicated. It's only difficult because you are focused on your faults and shortcomings. You think people will not take you seriously. Do not back down! This is your season to fulfill your purpose and destiny. Walk in it, Live it, and become it.
